Project Spread Smiles is more than a clothing brand— it’s a movement to promote mental health. As the name suggests, my mission is to spread smiles to everyone. Each piece of clothing features positive messages designed to brighten your day.
Did you know around one in five people struggle with their mental health daily? That’s at least 1.6 billion people worldwide! Many of them keep their feelings hidden, afraid of judgment and criticism. I understand this because I used to do the same, bottling up my emotions until they tore me apart. Unfortunately, this is a reality for many. Holding it all in only makes things harder, and I want to help change that.
I want people to embrace their struggles and feel brave enough to share their feelings. No one should have to suffer in silence. This is why I’m so passionate about mental health. My mission is simple: spread smiles and promote mental health, because no matter what, you should never stop smiling.
Who Am I?
Hi there! My name is Samson Grossman but everybody calls me Sammy. I am currently 18 years old and still in high school. I have struggled with depression and anxiety for around four or five years now. Through all my ups and downs, I have almost always tried to maintain a smile on my face. I have been told that my smile brightens up the world. I’ve always had this spark of motivation to keep going in life. When I was at the lowest of lows, I easily could have given up, but I didn’t. I can gladly say that I am still here and happy to be here. I have been through so much in my short lifetime and now I want to share my experiences. My ultimate goal for Project Spread Smiles is to bring a smile to each and every person who may come across my brand. I love to smile and I want to bring smiles to everyone’s face. Never give up and never stop smiling!
What Is The Semi-Colon?
The semi-colon isn't just something on your keyboard. There's a meaning behind this dot and comma. The meaning is how a person like me could have given up, but they kept on going. I decided to use the semi-colon in my logo because it symbolizes growth and resilience. I could have given up countless times but I kept on going and I'm still here today!
Why Green?
Green is more than just a color— it carries deep meaning for Project Spread Smiles. We chose green because it represents mental health awareness. It’s also a symbol of growth and new beginnings, which ties perfectly to the journey of mental health. It’s about embracing a fresh start and becoming the best version of yourself!
